Permanent Make-Up

Permanent Makeup, or cosmetic tattooing, is the process of inserting pigments into the skin for cosmetic purposes. Depending on factors like skin type, sun exposure, pigment used, etc., it can last anywhere from 1-3 years. A yearly colorboost appointment is recommended to keep your results looking fresh. We currently offer Powder Brows, Permanent Eyeliner, & Lip Blushing!

During your consultation, we will determine whether or not you are a good candidate for PMU.

    • Any drug or alcohol consumption in the last 24 hours

    • Allergy to dyes/metals/lidocaine, a patch test may be required to determine if you can undergo PMU procedure

    • Retin-A, AHA, chemical peel, laser treatment, and/or Accutane usage in the last month (increases sensitivity)

    • Botox and/or dermal filler use in the last 3 weeks (inapplicable if annual colorboost)

    • Skin conditions in the area being tattooed (i.e., eczema, psoriasis, acne)

    • Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

    • Important event scheduled in the next 2 weeks

    • Under 18 years old

  • Clearance or a note from you physician may be needed if you have any of the following:

    • Medications that affect healing

    • History of heart/blood problems

    • Cancer within previous 6 months

    • Anemia

    • Diabetes

    • Epilepsy

    • Tumors and/or cysts in the area

    • An autoimmune or liver disease 

    • Hemophilia

    • Hypertrophic or keloid scars

    • HIV/AIDS

    • Hepatitis

    • A serious heart disorder or blood infection

    • Hyperpigmentation

    • Glaucoma

Eyeliner

  • Permanent eyeliner involves the insertion of pigment onto the lash line to produce the appearance of traditional eyeliner.

  • Before your appointment:

    • Come without eye makeup

    • Remove contacts

    • Don’t exercise the day of procedure (body heat expands pores)

    • Don’t drink caffeine the day of procedure

    • Don’t drink alcohol 24 hours before procedure

    • Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, blood thinners, niacin, vitamin E, or omega-3 unless medically necessary for 48-72 hours before the procedure

    • Remove lash extensions 1 week prior and keep off for 2 weeks after procedure

    • Refrain from lash tinting or perming 2 weeks prior to procedure

    • Avoid heavy sun exposure and tanning beds for 1-2 weeks prior to procedure

    • Refrain from use of eyelash serums 4 weeks prior to procedure

    • Ensure skin is clear of obstacles (eczema, psoriasis, acne, etc.) in area to be tattooed

    • Obtain a doctor’s note for any eye conditions (i.e., Lasik, cataract surgery, raised intraocular pressures, etc.)

  • Consultation $50, this will be applied to the purchase of any service

    Eyeliner $299

    Touch up (6-12 weeks after initial appointment) $100

Lip Blushing

  • Lip Blushing is achieved by placing a desired pigment into the lips and lip line. True lip blushing typically gives an enhanced yet natural result, however it can be built up to create more of a lipstick look if desired.

  • Before your appointment

    • Don’t exercise the day of (body heat expands pores)

    • Don’t drink caffeine the day of procedure

    • Don’t drink alcohol 24 hours before procedure

    • Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, blood thinners, niacin, vitamin E, or omega-3 unless medically necessary for 48-72 hours before the procedure

    • Refrain from using exfoliants, glycolic acid, Retin-A, Renova, AHA, etc. At least 72 hours before procedure.

    • Avoid heavy sun exposure and keep lips moisturized for 1-2 weeks

    If you have ever gotten a cold sore:

    Talk to your doctor about prescribing an antiviral medication to be taken 3 days before the procedure and 5 days after. This can help prevent an outbreak during the healing process.

Powder Brow

  • Powder Brows are a popular style of permanent makeup that use a tattoo machine to achieve a soft gradient similar to a filled-in makeup look. They can range from soft & natural to a bold makeup look, and are flattering on clients with any skin type or amount of natural brow hair.

  • Before your appointment DON’T

    • Exercise (body heat expands pores)

    • Drink caffeine the day of procedure

    • Drink alcohol 24 hours before procedure

    • Take aspirin, ibuprofen, blood thinners, niacin, vitamin E, or omega-3 unless medically necessary 48-72 hours before procedure

    • Get sunburned or spend time in heavy sunlight in the week before procedure

    • Do not get a Brow tint or perm 2 weeks prior to procedure

Non-Tattoo Options

Shape & Stain

  • With Shape & Stain, we map and thread your ideal brow shape, then proceed to stain the hair & skin with Indian henna powder. This service lasts longer than traditional brow tinting—up to 2 weeks on the skin and 6 weeks on brow hair! This is a flattering and convenient service for clients with some natural brow hair, as well as a perfect trial run for permanent makeup!
